All Natural Toilet Bombs Easy DIY Recipe

Scrubbing the toilet clean has never been so fun! These simple all natural toilet bombs are great for light daily cleaning.

We keep a jar in each bathroom and each day I pop one in the toilet bowl, wipe down and clean the rest of the bathroom as the toilet bomb fizzes away, and then scrub the toilet and give it a flush. It keeps everything nice and clean without the need for harsh chemicals.

Some people also like to use toilet bombs as air deodorizers - just pop one in the loo before you relieve yourself!

Ingredients

1 and 1/3 cup Baking soda
1/2 cup Citric acid
90 drops Essential oils of your choice
1 tsp Water

You Will Also Need

Large mixing bowl
measuring cups and spoons
whisk
spoon
spray bottle (fine mist)
silicone moulds

Method

Sift the baking soda and citric acid in a large mixing bowl and mix well using a whisk.

In a spray bottle add 1tsp water and 90 drops of essential oils. Shake well and then begin to slowly spray onto dry ingredients while whisking.

Be careful not to oversaturate the dry ingredients or you will activate them.

Once your mixture has reached a wet sand consistency that will hold its shape when squeezed, you are ready to spoon the mixture into your silicone moulds.

Make sure you tightly pack in the mixture.

Leave to set overnight.

Next day, pop out of the moulds and store in an airtight container or jar.
