I recently tried overnight oats as a healthy breakfast, and I am hooked! This strawberry and Maple syrup combination is my favourite overnight oats recipe. It takes just a couple of minutes to prepare the night before, and it makes a quick, nutritious and absolutely delicious breakfast.
The base recipe is so simple, and you can modify the flavours to whatever you like best.
In a jar, add:
1/2 cup porridge oats
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup Greek yoghurt
1.5 tsp Chia seeds
1 tsp Maple syrup/honey/Agave syrup
Pop in the fridge, and the next morning, add whatever fruits/nuts you fancy!
These overnight oats can be stored in the fridge for up to four days.
